Ice Rink - Acknowledgement of Risk, Disclaimer and Indemnity

Terms and Conditions:

  1. I agree that I will abide by the safety rules and advice given on the separate rules sheet. I accept that it is my responsibility to ensure that the under 18s and vulnerable adults with me and listed below abide by these safety rules at all times whilst on the ice rink.
  2. I understand that I will be responsible for my safety and will be responsible for the safety of the 18's and vulnerable adults listed below.
  3. I understand and accept that it is my responsibility to supervise and / or provide adequate supervision for the under 18s and vulnerable adults listed below at all times whilst they are at the ice rink and adjacent premises on the resort, which supervision I undertake to provide.
  4. I/the under 18's and vulnerable adults listed below are physically fit to undertake the activities booked at the ice rink. To the best of my knowledge, I/under 18's and vulnerable adults listed below do not have any medical issues that will affect me, or them, whilst undertaking the activities. I will discuss any medical issues or disabilities that may affect me/ the under 18's and vulnerable adults’ ability to keep safe with the Ice Rink staff.
  5. I accept that Ice skating is a physical and demanding activity, and that the activities and the ice rink have inherent hazards with an element of risk. In particular, there is an inherent risk of falling and collision. The Ice Rink takes all necessary precautions to ensure customer safety but accidents may occur. Furthermore, I acknowledge and accept that those listed below participate at my / their own risk and agree not to hold Aviemore and Glenmore Community Trust trading as Aviemore Ice Rink responsible for any injury loss or damage arising.
  6. I undertake to indemnify Aviemore and Glenmore Community Trust, trading as Aviemore Ice Rink against all claims and demands (and any expense thereof) which may be made in consequence of the use of the Ice Rink by me/ those listed below.
  7. I understand and accept that no refunds will be given due to inability to participate.
  8. Aviemore Ice Rink is run by Aviemore and Glenmore Community Trust which has its base in Aviemore. I acknowledge and accept that the data and information provided by me is only stored for acknowledgement of risk, indemnity purposes, and in the case of medical emergency.
